SAC Named Hillsboro Aero Academy’s Official Representative in Nepal

Sudisha Aviation Consultant (SAC) is proud to announce a new milestone: we are now the official representative of Hillsboro Aero Academy (HAA) in Nepal, formalizing a partnership built to give Nepali students a clear, credible pathway into professional pilot training in the United States.

Why this matters for Nepali students

Hillsboro Aero Academy has been training pilots from more than 75 countries for over four decades, with campuses across Oregon and a fleet spanning both airplane and helicopter training tracks. What makes this partnership significant for Nepal specifically is regulatory, not just commercial: HAA has been officially recognized as an Approved Training Organization by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), with its FAA certification-based approval currently valid through May 2027. That means training completed at HAA sits within a recognized bilateral framework — not just a US qualification, but one CAAN acknowledges as part of a defined regulatory pathway for Nepali pilots.

As SAC’s authorized representative, HAA has designated us as the official point of contact in Nepal for students pursuing training with them — covering both of HAA’s core tracks:

  • Airplane Professional Pilot Program — Private, Instrument, Commercial, and Certified Flight Instructor training, structured over an 18-month standard track or a 14-month accelerated track for full-time students.
  • Helicopter Professional Pilot Program — the same certificate progression, delivered over a 14-month full-time track at HAA’s dedicated helicopter campus.

Both programs include support for the F-1 student visa process, giving graduates the opportunity to build flight hours and gain practical experience in the US following training.

What “official representative” means in practice

This designation means Nepali students working with SAC on an HAA pathway go through a structured, accountable process — document preparation, English evaluation coordination, visa documentation support, and pre-departure briefing — rather than navigating an unfamiliar international admissions system alone.

It also means something more foundational: this is a real, executed agreement between two named organizations, not an informal referral relationship. For families evaluating whether a consultancy is trustworthy, that distinction matters.

What comes next

We’re continuing to build out clear, honest guidance for students considering the HAA pathway — realistic timelines, what CAAN validation actually means for your license recognition back home, and what to expect at each stage from application to your first flight in Oregon.
