How SAC Began
SAC has always believed aviation guidance should be honest, accessible, and built on real industry experience. Founded in 2021 by Suraj Lama, aviation consultant and industry professional, SAC was built to solve a real problem: Nepali students and aviation businesses had no reliable, honest, and accessible source of aviation guidance.
Before founding SAC, Suraj established Annapurna Helicopter Pvt. Ltd. in 2017 and served as Chairman until 2021 — working directly with CAAN and the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoCTCA) to obtain regulatory approvals, import Airbus helicopters, and build lasting relationships with aviation professionals, pilots, engineers, and government officials across Nepal’s aviation sector.
In 2021, SAC was established with a clear purpose — to give every aspiring aviator in Nepal access to accurate, honest, and expert guidance. What started as a focused aviation education platform has grown into Nepal’s first virtual aviation hub — serving students, aviation businesses, airlines, and international organisations across the industry. Today, SAC connects Nepali students to verified training schools across the USA, Philippines, India, South Africa, and beyond — while providing specialist aviation business services to organisations operating in and entering Nepal’s aviation market.
