Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Category 'M' (Maintenance)

This program is offered by one of our partner institutions in CANADA, which has played a crucial role in shaping the economy since its founding in 1964. Over the years, it has effectively educated and trained experts, professionals, and innovators who make significant contributions to both the Canadian and global landscapes.

The Program

Some cohorts will progress through the program with minimal breaks, allowing them to complete their studies in approximately 18 months. However, certain classes may include a 17-week break, enabling students to work, return home, or retake failed courses, which would extend their study duration to about 21 months.

About 50 percent of the instructional time will be dedicated to theoretical discussions in a classroom setting, complemented by practical training in the shops and hangar at the Advanced Aerospace Technology Campus. The program adheres to recognized national and international standards and is sanctioned by Transport Canada (TC).

Upon successfully completing the diploma program, students will receive 18 months of experience credit toward the 48 months required by TC for obtaining an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Maintenance (AME-M) license. Graduating from this program may also qualify students for national certification from TC.
